Bringing Home Baby Julah 2011

Wow! This is my/our 100th post! Reflecting over the journey that we've covered makes me laugh, cry, take a deep breath and be excited at what the future will bring. I started blogging in April 2009 to keep family out of state up to date with what was going on and share pictures. Two years later...we've covered so much ground.

High-Points:
New baby, new jobs, new house, new car, fostering 2 girls, Duffy’s brother moving to Texas, 2 of Charis’ siblings graduated from college, getting Chloe (our dog) and Aspen (our cat) and our precious daughter, Julah! We've traveled to Italy, Kenya, Honduras, South Africa, El Salvador, Hawaii, The Bahamas, Breckinridge, Durango, Vail, and many other US cities.

Low-Points:
Mike’s cancer, Jenny’s death, Rachael’s car being stolen, someone breaking into our house, Duffy’s car getting broken into 4 times, Charis having a wreck, someone trying to car-jack Charis’ car. Losing two foster daughters, losing 4 pregnancies, infertility, and 4 adoptions falling through. Losing our pets: Sasha, Mr.Kitty & Baby Kitty.

I can't wait to see what God has in store for us. I have a feeling we have some major life changes about to take place!
