New things this week: playing with hands, working fingers, swatting at toys, grabbing, and holding wrist like she’s carrying a platter. She’s started kicking her feet and moving more energetically. She’s also eating and sleeping less – so I’m thinking a growth spurt might be coming. She’s also started intensely drooling – so maybe pre-teething?
On Friday, Charis got invited to a “Girls Night Out” and Duffy kept Julah for the first time extended amount of time. We’re happy to report that everyone survived in one piece, and Julah was able to put Duffy to bed successfully.
Duffy had to work this weekend, but Charis & Julah got to mee Trog & Mendi’s new baby boy, Rok Titus. Afterwards they dropped by their lifegroup’s BBQ lunch and then checked on a rent house and had dinner with “Memaw” Tammy.
On Tuesday, Grumps & Grandee were in town so we got to have dinner with them before heading over to Grapevine to the KidStand Vision Showcase. Shortly into the program the tornado sirens started going off, so Charis & Julah headed into the bathroom to take cover.
