Thank-you for showering love and prayer on the Fechner family this week. Your quick responses of compassion and encouragement have deeply touched their hearts and they send their gratitude to all of you. As Mike and Laura meet with doctors and spend time with their children, they will be out of pocket and unable to answer calls or respond to emails, but have requested to stay in touch with you via Mike’s blog www.mikefechner.com. The latest updates will be posted there (including one posted from Mike yesterday), and you can leave them encouraging notes in the “comments” section. Below you will find a text message sent to Scott Begin from Mike that sums it all up:
“I am sorry I didn’t talk with you, my throat and voice are still sore from the surgery. Yes, I am disappointed but not discouraged! Steve Goldman and others have called.
