Eating: 3.5 oz on average, sometimes 3 or 4

New things this week: She's been having these 3-4 hour fussy sessions, usually in the middle of the night and at some point projectile vomiting.
Diapers: Newborns are getting tight
Clothing: Newborns are getting tight
Facial Expressions: Her way of nuzzling is kind of like a bird pecking at something.
Eyes: Getting Bluer
Hair: Dirty Blonde/Brown

How's Mom Doing?

A few days ago I had that episode where I was cleaning the house and doing projects in a zombie-like state. Since then, I've spent countless hours trying to find all the things I had "put away". I looked EVERYWHERE for Julah's eye drops, a pair of tweezers, and the baby booger-sucker thingy for 2 days. I was certain that our dog had toted them off to a secret hiding place. I crawled under the beds, pulled furniture away from the walls, and left no nook or cranny unsearched. Finally, I decided that this must be the product of the "Zombie Cleaning Spree" and decided to start looking in places that made no sense. Five minutes into this approach I found the eye drops in the box of tax receipts, the tweezers in a bag of thread in my sewing box, and the baby booger-sucker thingy....melted in the microwave. Evidently, I was trying to sterilize it.

How's Dad Doing?
Duffy's really been a champ. Today, Julah had her second photoshoot. Duffy wasn't available for the first set of pics when Julah was 9 days old, so Monica came back over today and took some family pictures and father/daughter shots. Accidents happen when you are taking pictures of a baby without her diaper on, so we weren't shocked when Julah peed on the bed....or Duffy...or my foot...or Duffy again...or the carpet. We were a little shocked when she pooed....not only once....but twice in Duffy's hand while he was holding her for a shot. His face was priceless! Monica was a pro and just kept on shooting pics while Duffy tried to keep a straight face. I purposefully want to get a large portrait printed of that picture...it'll always make us laugh knowing what was hidden away in his hand.
