Red Bicycles & Blue Scooters

It was decided yesterday that the girls would be moved to the other placement. Our hearts are broken, but we're trusting God with them. We are hurting, but we are also expectantly looking forward to what God has in store for us. He will restore what the locusts have taken - He has great plans for us and for the girls that no man can thwart.


Someone told us right before the mediation that sometimes we get so focused on wanting "a red bicycle", that we are dissappointed when God gives us "a blue scooter". What we don't realize is that there's a gorilla hanging out around the corner, waiting to attack anything that's red. Although it doesn't make sense to us now, we know that God loves us and those girls and this is best for both of us.

"Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." (Heb 11:1)
